315 watt Ceramic MH info ?

Nice, interested to see how they play out for you! Any idea of the optimal footprint they throw out? would be nice if I can just space them 6 feet from center with the gavitas and still get enough lumens . planning on using just the 630 de cmh for veg
 
I have to say the more I use these DE CMH the more I like them. I am finding that not only are they great in veg, but also in flower. EBM has good customer service, although I did go through some changes with warranty. The warranty itself was not the issue, shipping was. They wanted $100 to ship my bad ballast back to china and then back to me. I was not going to pay shipping and in the end I threatened to go all social media on them. That seemed to have done the trick because they sent me a DHL packing list and a truck. From the time DHL picked up my ballast until I received it back was 8 days:D

Ok so safe to order a bunch from EMB off Alibaba ? Im looking to order a bunch of these and haven't tested them but I know other people kill it with the dual 630's like jungle boys. I might be limited by power at a new location and these could solve my problem.

also is a 4x4 ideal footprint for these or can they do 4x5 with overlapping footprints in a big room?

I’m only testing 2 of the 630’s 3k bulb in a 6x6 chicken coop with 8’ceiling, but the plants are cranking and very happy with the addition spectrum. I may drop a 600 hps in if needed. I’d like to see what they do in the coop, 2x 630’s compared to 2x 1000 hps I used to run in there.

If they do well, I’ll be able to expand my main grow or save some money on my electric. My question is can they produce bomb flowers w/o additional hps. From what I’ve been told from friends using 315’s is that the buds aren’t as dense but the plants produce a lot more trichomes. I have been told that the 630 can cover a 4x4.
 
Cool Teyve. I think the 630 DE CMH will have better penetration than the dual 315 fixture. Read something along those lines and makes sense, more concentrated power
 
I use both the 315's and the 630DE cmh lights...I use the 315's in veg and they work great...the 630's put out a huge amount of light, far more that the 315's in my opinion...I'm flowering with the 630R light and the plants are truly smothered with trichs...
 
Nice witchking, Id like to do the same with the 630's. Pushing 3 weeks with mine in flower and the the trichomes are spreadnding out nicely onto the small fans.
 
I am so happy with my DE 630's I am thinking about getting some DE 1k's next. I had thought about adding a DE hps to the mix because the buds are not as rock hard as if they were under my DE hps 1k's, but after talking with a friend who uses 600 watt hps i'm not sure the problem is with spectrum but instead it just may be lack of watts The buds he has grown under 600 watt hps seemed about the same density as my buds under the 630's:D

Recently purchased the Sun 630 and have noticed the girls love it. Did also notice that it dries the room/girls out faster. Flowering with it and a Mars 1200 and while they have not had a complete cycle I like what I am seeing so far. Replaced a 1000w with it.

Done a few laps with these. Each 4x8 tray has two 630’s and a 1000 watt hps in the center. Some of the best plants are where the spectrums blend together. I believe the bulbs are rated for 20k hours with low drop off,so even at half that I won’t have to replace a bulb for a very long time. The buds get real heavy lol and the investment is starting to come back.

i just picked up a solistek 630 cmh to put in between 2 600 hps. i'm hoping the added UV will make a difference.

So 2 out of 4 of the ebm Chinese 630 crapped out. Mine died after a little more than 1000 hrs, my neighbors lasted a little longer. They performed well until they didn’t. They are sending 2 more but want $100 shipping.
