some funky glass
here's some of my personal glass (these are not HMK's designs - hope you don't mind bro)
my biggest and most expensive piece,
bartered it for doing a website for a
member here who hasn't been around
in a long time. lost my shirt on the deal,
the piece was supposed to be worth $600.
but nah baby nah. its a display piece. retired.
photo doesn't do it justice. lots of dichro and
honeycomb. only issue with it is that it's a bubbler.
but because of the angle some of the water spills
out the stem. i prefer dry pipes nowadays anyway.
here's a favorite, spoonish with lots of dichro and chunky.
so many bubbles on this one, another favorite.
only issue is the bowl hole is too small and
it plugs up easily and is a bitch to clean.
it has been retired.
here's a chillum with a sliver of opal in a
bubble. another display piece,
not my favorite for smoking. retired
nighttime piece, a simple hammer.
the white bead i call The Bowl Bead,
it covers the bowl perfectly to ensure
the herb stops burning. got a wild hair
to make and sell them but it's not easy to
match up with a bowl unless the pipe
is there at purchase. quite illegal.
bedtime piece. found it at a music fest in
Virginiacouple years ago. weird white shit
in the bowl. i cleaned it aggressively before
enjoyment ensued.
3 chillums, all dichro. have had the one
on the left for many years. the one in the
middle is my road tripper. the one on
the right is a cigarette sized bat that's
gorgeous but kinda small.
here are 2 dishes, i think the small one
has borosilicate (or glass shards) baked in.
dunno really. the blue one is dichro'd.
finally, a venus shaped dichro display piece.
it's pretty amazing.
guess i have more glass than i thought, don't
tell my wife
rop: i leftout a few that are meh.
couple of tall glass mass production bongs
and bubblers. i do have a teal colored glass
frog with a built in bowl on his belly.
