The Righteous Path?

Hello all been a minute since I made a post,, I started this prgect back near xmas,, here is a previous thread showing my attic grow setup,, https://www.thecannacabana.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39170&highlight=sleevecc

On Feb 12th I started some babies from seed,, quite a few at the time and had major failures with germination.. cold uncontrolled temps at the time etc.. I got 5 out of 20 at the time and since have aquried 20 more and got them going about a month later,, few failed, at this time there is around 20 al together,, I have been topping and slowing down what I call the first 5 or 1st gen, so as to let the others catch up, and put all into to a scrog net,, I have 5 Autos in there.. Cool ice to be specific,, (wow them things started flowering way quicker than I ever expected) . I topped them tonight,, prolly bad move after flower, but either way I want to try and keep a smooth canopy as best as possible, if they fail so be it.

I am using all cleaned coco in 1 gal pots.. I have been topping and training as best as I can figure.. Im using Advanced Nutrients Micro PH ,, seen no issues with PH thus far and have progressed all up to around 800 ppm now with no burn,, I have several species going so I thought best to try and keep low ppm 2nd gen is holding same ppm now as 1st with out burn. My assessment is the strongest will survive and Ill try to keep one solution mix going cause it sucks trying to remember different for all species..so I went toward the min for all and build it up, I guess is the best way to explain.

I have made a scrog screen.. I am running 2 LED 1k watt lights..

My ultimate question at this point looking at the pics is,, should I go ahead and put them into the scrog or wait until they get taller? Or, should I bring the scrog down to them and start now? I have been topping and training as best as I know how,, getting better all the time... another question. are the big leaves really needed and should I remove lower growth? They seem pointless to me.. Training technique look ok before scrog? I love pipe cleaners!! :-) Please give me your thoughts critizing is more than welcome.. I trully am just going for it and hoping for the best, hadnt done any kinda grow in 25 years.. and things back then sure as hell were not the same as now. Wow.. Let me know folks need the input!!!

people who sell those kind of panels lie their head off..
you did good scrog setup job.,i hope those lights are good enough

LED lights: 100PCS exclusive 10W of LED grow
Coverage: approximately 3.5 × 4 feet (lighting area and height according to different plants and the environment is changeable)
Lumen: 19000lm
Pa: 526umol / 1 mole 432umol /1.5 meters
Lux: 15000LUX / 1 mole 12000lux /1.5 meters
Life:> 50,000 hours
LED Rated Power: 100 x 10W
Actual power consumption: 90W~130W

Not sure how to check any other way than the specs they have for it,, seem to be working ok I rekkon.

you have two 90 w -130w led panels....munus the fan wattages...they have a dimmer?

other wise its only one wattage

..the best way isto have watt meter..like a killa watt

wall watts are the watts that count

No dimmer.

So knowing this,, how bad of a panel is it? hold the 3.5-4 area it says?
When I slid the seedlings from under the flo lights to the LED's roughly 5 foot away, they went crazy. Seemed ok to me anyhow.

kushyman, what do you mean by wall watts? The lumens reflected off the walls of the grow room? :hmm:

He is meaning how much juice is being pulled through the ole plug. Mentioned a 'kill-a-watt' meter. I have two of them - they plug into the wall, and then your device plugs into the meter. It measures how many watts are flowing through, and can sum them up over a day, week, whatever.
You can even enter your electricity rate, and it will calculate the dollar value of your consumption.
I recall using on a dehumidifier, and wow, that is costly to run in the summer. A mini fridge that cost $36/year. etc.

good job mre

wall watts are real measurable watts..all those other "watts" are fake watts..

if you have a 10 w led..it is never run at 10w or it will burn out too fast

the less watts you drive them the more efficient they are

the leds in this thread are also only prob 100-110lm/w at best..i had those kind of lights

8 yrs ago..mine are 160-190 lm w depending on how hard or soft i drive them
