Sock Filter

One of the slickest ways to filter to 1 micron in line, without blinding the filters, is to use a 4" X 8" polyester felt sock filter from Duda Diesel. Alas, no one is currently making the stainless canister for such an application and my previous design is included in some of my IP currently under legal contest.

Here is a fresh new design, which uses a simple retaining ring to attach the filter to the canister lid, and the rest of the system is off the shelf sanitary spool and end caps.
