Rainbow sherbet by DEO (Bagseeds)

This all started when I found 2 seeds in an 1/8th bag of Studio 54 from pure options dispensary in Michigan.

I then ran back and bought two more 1/8th of it bc that’s all they had left in stock. I found 3 more seeds in one pack and 7! In the last pack which is pictured below. For a total of 12 Bagseeds.
According to DeepEast AKA DEO the Rainbow sherbet is a cross of The Pink Guava(OZ kush F2) x Sunset sherbet.
The studio-54 is the F1 generation of the Rainbow sherbet and is the sister to RS-11 and the jelly roll (#19).
And the Zope comes from the Rainbow Sherbet F2 generation.

Outside of California the only dispensary that DEO has licensed his cuts to are pure options out of Michigan so provenance should be legit (one would hope).

Now I know Bagseeds could be ANYTHING like another plant herming on to it or it could be self pollinated by herming on itself or maybe there was an male that pollinated it (doubtful due to most rec shops not breeding in facilities).
So if these were in fact S1s as I assume they may be I could have a chance of looking through a few of the parental lines that make up the RS those being the Pink Guava and the sunset sherb or even a mix of the both parents (I’m not the most experienced in S1s or how they bring parental genetics out if you have any insight or anything let me know, would be appreciated). Either way after hearing all the hype and not having grown any sherb types personally I got excited and rushed to popping these 12 beans and praying to find something special.
Here they are in solos behind a pack of Notsodog LA kush(Headband) x Triangle kush I popped from CSI Humboldt.
Out of the 12 seeds I popped 11 made it.

from here I ran them in flower out 3 times, once from seed twice from clone.
I’m posting pics of last run bc it was the best run and solely of the RS I’ll do another grow log of the notsodog headband x TK.
I took mostly videos so im taking screen shots from the vids if I can

I also like #2 and #9 looks good but I haven’t smoked it yet bc it was the slow growing runt but came back nice and fast after cloning

I haven’t posted much bc it wasn’t the best smoke or flavor the first 2 times I grew her but now the 3rd time growing her I noticed something strange

She seems to be dudding
Both buds are from the same plant just different branches and one is super frosty and the other branch…we’ll it looks to me like it’s dudding and some of the buds are even throwing new lateral bud growth with fresh white hairs.
Now I have taken clones in here and there and one of them in particular (old family purple clone from genotypeA2) definitely had the HLVD bc it had the same dudding branch issue but her good branches smoke sooo good I couldn’t throw her out so I threw her outside last summer to rejuvenate and kept a clone of her in the garden but she’s kept far away from everything else and her clones get taken with a new surgical blade and go into a separate humidity dome. There’s always a chance it could of been passed to it but I also neglected this pheno bc it wasn’t gona get kept and the back up was already killed but what I’m thinking and wondering is what are the chances it was passed through its seed and remained latent until I neglected it and then the dudding popped out? Bc I didn’t see any dudding the first few time of growing her.
Either way I’m semi scared for my garden.
I’m thinking it time to clean up some of my cuts with tissue culture if that even works.

Currently as I wrote this up my drying room is
At around 65° and 66% RH which in my eyes is prefect.

My conclusion to this Bagseeds pheno hunt is my stand out and keeper pheno is RS Bagseeds #6
Shes super creamy sweet scent with a hint of either fruity or candy on the nose, flavors is reminiscent of sherb and lingers on the pallet in a joint. She grows big buds and branches out wide, turns purple in flush and on the easier end to trim. Overall very appealing to the nose and eye and taste fantastic, not the heaviest hitter but can be smoked anytime of the day or all day.

This is dried & cured smoke from the first clone grow I did of her a few months back

Honorable mentions from the hunt are #2 #9 & #12 all three of these sisters had a unique specific growth structure trait that I’m curious about but also not ready to divulge publicly YET. All three have buds on the smaller end that are super frosty and potent, definitely not commercial cuts #12 smells like creamy garlic strongly #9 smells like creamy berries almost grape and #2 terp profile is right on par with the #6.
bc of the growth structure trait that is almost identical in each of these 3 im going to keep them all and either reverse the #6 on to them or hit them with male pollen from one of my original crosses.

*I will not be releasing any of these cuts or seeds(if I make any) unless I get permission from DEO personally and I don’t know him so I’ll try to reach out on IG and see if he minds if I breed with what I found and then Ill go from there.

**this was my first ever grow log and now that I got one out of the way I know where I need to improve as far as my picture taking process and documentation. I’m not expert nor am I very familiar with forum etiquette so work with me and let’s learn and grow together

Hey Amoeba, lovely pics and some sturdy looking phenos for sure,good work lovely fades on them all autumnal,...just spent the last year running a lot of the sherb type clone onlys..the rs11, studio 54,zoap,cola cubes, permanent marker ect..and looking your pics,pheno #1 Is a dead ringer for the cola cubez clone,pheno #6 literally could be the Zoap cut and the #4 looks very very very similar to the Rs11...I'll have to get some pics up of this next round when they finish to show what I talking about..keep up the good work my friend....cheers. bimble
