Not a big deal, just curious. Why the darker root color near the top?

Clones were in a clone king type using just clonex and GH ph down. 4 different strains in the cloner.

Moved 4, all different strains, into a tub with an air stone using GH micro and bloom, GH ph down and h2o2. All the roots were white in the cloner. Tub was cleaned and sanitized.

In the tub the roots above the water line, real close to the bottom of the net pot turned ever so slightly brown after about half a day. Roots in the water, still white. Washed the slight brown off and put them back. Added a hair bit more h2o2 to play it safe. Checked them a few times in the last 36 hours and cleaned them once. More so for piece of mind. Maybe it was just the "leftover" slight discoloration. But again it was minimal and less than the first time.

A day later moved 4 well rooted clones, same 4 different strains, into two 5 gallon buckets with 1 dewey mister in each. No brown anywhere.

Bubbles don't carry enough h2o2 above water to clean roots?

That's a good question. Perhaps the air coming through the stones is carrying some bacteria? Or ambient air. The air around us is full of microbes....
