I had the pleasure of testing the Ice Cream Cake x Killer Sour and all I have to say is grab them if you can as you will not be disappointed.
For this cross Chefro used the Guava Gelato cut of Ice Cream Cake and paired it with the Killer Sour male that meshed just perfectly in my opinion. Killer Sour is Killer Queen x Sour D Bx2 and Killer Queen is G-13 x C99 for those who care about lineage breakdowns.
I popped a full pack and lucked out with 10 females and 3 males. All 10 females shined in their own ways which has made it quite hard to make a selection, in fact I’m running all 10 again now to try and knock it down as although I mainly found 3 possibly 4 profiles, there is enough variation within each to justify keeping them around for another round or 2. Ideally I see myself keeping 3 maybe 4 as I enjoy these a lot.
The first pheno is a heavy rubbing alchohol/acetone with a touch of fruit on the backend in which taste/smokes exactly as smells, it’s quite the trip but very enjoyable. Nice buzz in this one as well it.
Pheno 2 is a creamy gas/sour that has a hint of fruit to it. The creaminess makes for a very smooth smoke and is quite tasty.
The third pheno comes is similar to 2 but reversed, it’s a creamy fruit with a hint of sour/gas to it. This one has a more mild buzz but still strong, I like it for daytime smoke as I can still function good but the terps are tasty and has a very smooth smoke to it.
The last pheno is fruity candied guava with a gnarly funky almost pineapple/citrus back end that is another interesting one in the terps department but has a real good buzz to it.
They all had great structure with medium to heavy yields and finished in the 9-10 week range
