There are a lot of articles out there about bees and cannabis. Only problem is, if you have pollen floating around for the bees, you have pollination happening as well. Can't feed the bees without making seeds.

our state had the person in charge of the hemp program, also be in charge of the state honey/bee program. Thought that was interesting.

The lead Q got me interested in pot & bees so I did a search. I found this interesting article.

Here is a list of articles on Cannabis & Bees.

Seems like 'cannabis honey' refers to oil made from cannabis buds and that bees have nothing to do with it. It's easy to see that there is a bit of confusion & some not so true 'urban legends' :pimp: out there in dream land regarding bees making pot laced honey. One guy says he trained his bees to go after pot plants & he makes honey from it. As the articles point out, bees don't even much like Mary.

Me, I am happy with just good buds. All the hash & finger hash I have I keep in the fridge in case I get something that just smoking buds doesn't work for. Then I'll follow the advise I got from Rick Simpson & collaborating site, Phoenix Tears. So far, so good! I think...I do need to get my 10 year check up. :D

I have been growing OD for about 12 years. Never seen even ONE honey bee in there! I do get lines of piss ants going up & down main stem & fanning out on branches. Little bit of Dawn dish soap spray keeps them in check & a bit of Amdros Ant Killer on a jar lid away from the ground near the plants helps a lot as well. I don't want the ant stuff near the plants, just in case. That might wreck my attempt to be as organic as possible & add toxic chemicals.
