Dank Outdoor 2019

Dankdude

In a cloud of Smoke
Well I put out plants this year.
I have already learned one valuable lesson as they have been in the ground a week already.
I am growing at an elevation of 7,800 feet above sea level.
Lesson learned? At this altitude it's best to put the plants (all plants, not just cannabis) under a shade cloth until they harden off. At first I put out 11 plants, 7 Cheese x NL#5 and 2 Blueberry x 88g13hp and 1 calio x 88g13hp.
I lost the calio x 88g13hp and 1 cheese x NL#5. The almost unfiltered sunlight flat burned them up, and damaged the other 9 to the point that they won't produce much. I'll grow them out anyway.
Also I have put out Uzbeki x 88g13hp, DTC99, Killer Queen, skunk x C99 and a UBC Chemo cross.
I'll be leaving the shade cloth up until after the Monsoon season.

We started the plants indoors.

Now the particulars about the grow, I have planted them over a leech feild, the owner of the property has used this area for years. When digging in this soil, each shovel full had earth worms in it, healthy soil.
We are currently in the process of digging up weeds in the bed.

Later I'll post pictures of different plants and their development.

Don't mind the wife being in the picture, we are legal.

That can be true at any altitude. Just depends on the lighting used....fluros, you're probably going to need to harden 'em....HIDs, probably not necessary.

They were vegged under fluros, some are taking it better than others.
The Killer Queens are loving the sunshine, the DTC99s aren't doing too bad either, the skunk x C99 are a bit droopy but are going to pull through.

A welcome addition to the outdoor thread Dankdude and good luck to you and your grow...take care n stay safe.

Well we finally pulled down the shade cloth, I think they have hardened off enough.

Well we had a minor setback the other day, hail storm.
It dinged the hell out of my truck and cracked the wind shield but the plants got minor damage, knocked off a few leaves and broke off a few small branches.
They will make it.

So far I have harvested the Uzbeki x 88g13. The hairs on this one turned purple .
Will be harvesting some of the Suicide Cheese x NL#5 soon.

Just a preharvest shot of one of our Killer Queen plants.

Will be ready in the near future.
