I have a question for the heads that have been doing this a long time - no til mixture and for years with the same batch of just compost only. I have three types of compost... one is the cream of the crop but super heavy and powerful; Coast of Maine's Lobster compost, 1/2 bag of that. Also 2 bags of local compost one bag is open and exposed for last year , other is still in the bag...
Lastly I have mushroom compost thats been there 2-3 yrs can't remember.... would we considered this cooking for two years(mainly the ones exposed to the elements and opened. But also need info on the one that is closed, does compost after a yr or more develop it's own beneficial bacteria???

Thanks in advance everyone :)

I would add worms and cover crop on all mixed up. Personally mushroom compost is garbage . Then 1/3 compost 1/3 soil or peat and 1/3 airtion. Amend coot style
