Budder/oil

Only made oil/budder a few times . Always with trim . This time was mostly small buddage and sugar leaf . Dried . Decarbed in oven . Every time the butter cake has been rock solid....easy to pop out in one piece . For some odd reason , this time even when the cake is solid , it doesn`t want to come out in one solid piece . It would rather come apart in smaller chunks . It actually feels like it has air whipped into it . Is this just a difference in using a better quality starting product....or....?
Thanks for any help !

No water my friend?
I use the same trim and larf buds. Usually, I end up with 2-3 totes full so the crock-pot method would take forever. I put the dried material in my finishing bubble bag, add 2 lbs dry ice and shake. The powder from the shake then gets decarbed, placed in the crock with butter/coconut oil. Assume your powder to be about 75% or less for titration.

I'd like to hear Graywolfs method of non-mechanical extraction.

Yeah , enough water to cover the herb . Forgot to add the oil till it started bubbling . Maybe waited too long ?

Hola Gang

After clinical test they found
that the decarb is not necessary
if you use a crock pot.
The material will decarb in the crock pot
even to the low setting it get hot enough
to decarb.
