Slow cooked - Chicken Mushroom Marsala

Mushrooms have been on sale, as are chicken pieces. So I found a recipe from Guy Fieri for Chicken Mushroom Marsala, and made it twice. Once served with bow tie pasta, once with white rice. So I don't mind making it again, as chicken parts and mushrooms are on sale again. But this time cooked in a crock pot instead of the oven.

Basics;
Salt-pepper chicken and brown each side in large skillet w/oil. Put them in the crock pot
8oz mushrooms, cleaned and sliced, green onion and garlic in the skillet to just brown the 'shrooms. add TBS tomato paste and fresh thyme (only had dry). Add chicken bullion and marsala wine, scrape any bits and dump it all in the crock pot.
When done mix in 4 TBS cold butter pats, 1/2 lemon juiced, couple of cups of chopped, fresh parsley.
Serve with starch of choice.

OH man ,that sounds good , I bet it comes out great

Thank you. it did. though Mrs didn't want the sauce reduced. it was wet and light. when reduced it is thick and very sweet, salty, savory and strong. and the chicken at .99/lb and mushrooms were 1.50/10 oz.
