Shelf life

Is there any kind of shelf life on crock pot butter ? Got some that`s been in fridge uncovered for 3 months . Think it`s still good ? Thanks !

i'm seeing 2-3 weeks shelf life after opening.

Although not a perfect test, your senses are usually the most reliable instruments to tell if it butter has gone bad.

Spoiled butter will begin to appear pale, may possibly grow mold and will be either too soft or too hard and difficult to spread. In addition, spoiled butter can smell stale, cheesy or decomposed.

Keep it in the freezer, take out daily portions or so.
If you are talking canna butter, if you cook it again with water to get out more of the green it will definitely last longer.

I keep my canna butter in the freezer and take out chunks as needed. Hope this helps...

It`s helped me figure out to get out of fridge and use some....and freeze the rest ! Thanks guys !
