After 13 years of use, my old Sunlight Supply 400w HPS ballast is starting to wear out. It's taking a long time to fire my last RetroWhite CMH lamp. It's time to buy new equipment.

After some searching of threads, I'm leaning toward a Prism ballast, a mogul/pin adapter along with the Philips CDM 315w lamp.

Is there a better ballast choice? Is an adapter a bad idea for whatever reason or should I go for a new reflector instead?
 
new starter for your sunlight? I still run one I've had, replaced two starter over a long time with two lights. can't get simpler to get into the wiring than the sunlight, huh?

I'd consider that, Shov, but the lamp I use with that ballast hasn't been manufactured in years and I don't do HPS.
